The CFSummit East conference we announced the availability of ColdFusion Fiddle, available at https://cffiddle.org/ We realize that many of you were waiting to get access to this from the time we announced. At the CFSummit East last month we announced the availability of Docker images for ColdFusion from Adobe. They are available on bintray and here is the direct URL to access the images: https://bintray.com/eaps/coldfusion/ In that list of images you will also find API Manager, API Manager addons along with the image for ColdFusion server. Do give these images a try and let us know your feedback.

Many of you may already be aware that we are running a pre-release public beta for ColdFusion (2018 release). This post is to give you a heads up that ColdFusion (2018 release), slated to be released in the second half of this year, will only have upgrade pricing available from ColdFusion (2016 release). If you are on ColdFusion 11 or earlier, then you will not be eligible for the upgrade pricing.

The updated public facing roadmap is now available on the ColdFusion product page on adobe.com. Go to www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion, under the Datasheets and Whitepapers you will find the link for the product roadmap. Here is the direct link for the roadmap. One of the points in the roadmap that needs a mention is the long term commitment that Adobe has for ColdFusion as a product. The version that Adobe is working on right now, ColdFusion Aether, will have extended support till 2025.
We are very close to offering the first pre-release for next major version of ColdFusion – ColdFusion Aether! If you are just as excited as we are and want to get onto this early pre-release for Aether, all you have to do is take this short survey.
