25 Years of Adobe ColdFusion

25 years ago, Adobe ColdFusion was brought to life by a shared passion for coding and a vision to make hard things easy for coders around the world. In 1995, ColdFusion paved the way to create a unique web application software for Windows NT and 95 servers to help coders build the next generation […]

What’s that about? And why is it a concern? (And is it ever NOT a concern?) Indeed why is it a new admonition? (To be clear: the recommendation should be heeded even by those using CF versions […]

OSGi Support is Needed to Assure Secure Code

Here is a serious question to ponder. I have been supporting the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) at two different companies over the past five years.  The AEM and Lucee support OSGi framework over JVM which makes these applications faster (on compile) and more secure. Is there any forward  looking plans to support OSGi (and Maven).

Did you know that ColdFusion Standard is available free for use in education?

While most may know that CF has always been free for development use, did you know that folks in education (students, teachers, and staff) can obtain CF Standard licenses, for use in learning (though not production)? This topic is covered in a section in the available ColdFusion FAQ. There’s an FAQ for CF Standard and one for CF Enterprise, and both say the same thing about this matter, in their section of questions on “Complimentary ColdFusion Standard for education“. There […]
