Whether you’re attending CF Summit East 2026 or not, if you’re in the DC area check out the available day-long workshop held the day before (Oct 28), with Brian Sappey, all about building AI app integration using the features introduced in CF2025 update 8.

This post is a follow-up to my post on that CF Summit East 2026, being held Oct 29.
While the one-day conference is free, this day-long workshop has a $99 cost. Let me quote the intro from that page about the workshop:
We won’t just show you what’s new. We’ll spend six hands-on hours showing you how to turn your current applications into intelligent systems using the native power of the 2025.8 release. On most platforms, adding AI means re-architecting. Here it’s the opposite: the more established your applications, the more you gain – you’re adding intelligence to systems that already work, without putting a running application at risk.
Like with the conference the next day, this one will include breakfast and lunch (mentioned in the FAQ section)–but no happy hour, it seems. 🙂
See that workshop event page for more details:

including the times, location, parking, topics to be covered in each of its six sections, more on Brian, CPE (continuing professional education) credit info, and of course the registration form.
