Folks in or near the Washington DC area especially will want to note that Adobe is again offering their free one-day “CF Summit East 2026“, to be held Oct 29 at the Carahsoft Event Center in Reston Va (about 20 mins from Dulles airport).

If you’re unaware, Adobe has offered this event for several years, as a smaller event that’s complementary to the main Summit event–offering a subset of talks offered at the CF Summit West in Vegas in June.

What’s included?

The event is also complimentary (as in free). No charge, for two tracks of over a dozen talks, as well as breakfast and lunch and also a happy hour at the end of the day.

Beyond the talks being reprised from CF Summit in Vegas, some are new talks. The two tracks are “AI in Web Development” and “Adobe ColdFusion Core & its Ecosystem“.

I’ve attended for several years and can attest that it’s a really nice event–a great chance to see talks on what’s new in CF2025 and beyond, as well as the opportunity to meet with Adobe folks, fellow CFers, vendors (in the sponsor area), etc.
