Coldfusion2018 installer on Ubuntu20.04 ARM64

I am trying to install Coldfusion server configuration on my Ubuntu 20.04 ( ARM-based virtual machine in Parallels Desktop for Mac).
I have downloaded the coldfusion for linux (ColdFusion_2018_WWEJ_linux64.bin) and when i try to install it, it complains about JRE libraries either missing or incompatible and the installer exits. Below is the log:

Preparing to install

Extracting the JRE from the installer archive…

Unpacking the JRE…

Extracting the installation resources from the installer archive…

Configuring the installer for this system’s environment…

Launching installer…

JRE libraries are missing or not compatible….
Exiting….

Is coldfusion2018 installable on Ubuntu20.04 (64-bit ARM) systems? Are there known compatibility issues?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

We haven’t verified CF2018 with Ubuntu20.xx. Also, I doubt we support ARM64 with CF.

However, you can try these steps and see if that resolve the issue. You can create your own directory, it is just for the reference.

IATEMPDIR=/home/ubuntu/tmp
export IATEMPDIR
