There is yet another possible source of confusion. The meet-up page (https://www.meetup.com/coldfusionmeetup/events/277112459/) says the Online ColdFusion Meetup will be held “Thursday Apr 15th at 5pm US Eastern Time, UTC-5“.
Thanks for that heads-up. It was indeed a typo in the wording of the announcement at meetup.com. Fortunately, the time indicated for the event calendering was correct (so people will have it correct if they registered and saved the meeting invite to their calendar), as was the tweet about it when I posted it back then, and as was this post.
It’s a bit of a bummer that no one else had observed it since I posted it there 2 weeks ago, but I have now corrected it.
Lots of balls to juggle with running these events. 🙂 I’ve dropped a few of them in the 285 meetings so far, and I suppose I may again. I ask folks indulgence and patience, and again thank you for helping me keep things straight.
