I just wanted to share this news as a heads-up, as others may find the problem, and also to report that I have brought it to Adobe’s attention (though this post may catch the attention of still someone else who may help get it fixed).

Update: this is fixed as of Mar 11, 2020.

CF downlaods page brokenIf you visit the page for CF-related downloads (https://www.adobe.com/support/coldfusion/downloads.html), you may find (as I have for at least the past 2 days) that the layout is “broken”, with an odd gray background and only a long list of links appearing from the top of the page. One would have to page down to eventually find the meat of the page, the downloads for various things related to CF (like available Java updates, installers for related CF services, and more).

I’ve experienced this in multiple browsers (so it’s not limited to Chrome 80 and its samesite restrictions), and I also have confirmed that I have turned off all ad or tracker blocking protections for the Adobe site in these browsers. Again, the problem just started happening in recent days, so it seems something on the server has changed.

For the sake of more curious devs, I’ll note that when I view the page in a browser dev tool, I don’t see the “network” tab showing any file getting a 404 or similar error, though I do see the “console” tab showing various javascript errors–but I don’t know if those would have been there when it worked.

Anyway, here’s hoping someone at Adobe can get it fixed soon.

Charlie- We’ve fixed the issue. It was due to a JavaScript error and a few of our websites were also impacted.

Great to see, Saurav, and I can confirm it showing fixed. Thanks.

In case others may find that it “still seems to be a problem”, you are likely seeing cached results from your browser (as I was, at first).

Thank you Charlie for pointing it out. I could see the issues in multiple browsers. I’ve asked the team to get the issues resolved.
