We made the decision to move from our current API Gateway to the Adobe API Manager.  We chose this platform for several reasons.

1. Cost – It was included in our CF Enterprise license and saved us significant money over our other gateway.
2. Ease of Use – The UI is simple and clean.  The Manager is rich with features.
3. Analytics – The Manager provides detailed analytics that are customizable and provide very detailed information.

We currently have the API Manager setup in a clustered environment running on Linux.  We are currently taking about 5 million requests per week and see this doubling in the next few months.  We have not had any performance issues at this point.

Our engineers like using the API Manager.  They can now create and monitor APIs on their own without relying on a specialized team that manages the gateway.

I also want to call out the Adobe Engineer team for their dedicated support and help during our migration.  They helped provide insight and new features based on our needs.  We look forward to a continued partnership with the team.
