So I stumbled upon the site https://cfmlbadges.monkehworks.com/ today while catching up on the ModernizeOrDie podcast and thought it was pretty cool.  It was announced by it’s creator Matt Gifford on his blog way back in November here: https://www.monkehworks.com/2019/11/26/cfml-badges.html.  He talks about why it exists, what led him to put it together, etc. so dip over there for a read.  I did a quick search of the portal and noticed no one had posted about it so wanted to add one.

I’ve been reading through the various badges and there are some pretty funny ones “I can bench press Ben Nadel” and blasts from the past such as “Approved by Ben Forta”.  A lot of inside jokes that those in the CF community will get that others won’t.  My money is on “Contains Cat Gifs” being a reference to the OG ColdFusion Jedi Ray Camden.

Matt asks for suggestions for new badges be placed in the comments so maybe some people here can think of some new one’s to get added.  I’m running through some ideas now as I read them to see if I think any are worth submitting.  One reason for posting here is selfish as I’m curious to see what people may add.
