The 2018 ColdFusion State of the Union survey is now available: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/StateoftheCFunionsurvey2018

This is a yearly survey done by TeraTech getting the pulse of the ColdFusion community gauging CF’s use, integration with other technologies, source code management, etc.  It gives a holistic picture of how CF is being used out there in the world as well as a picture of the current developers.  This is not associated with or sponsored by Adobe but i would expect that they do pay attention to the results when they are published.

I highly advocate taking part as even the questions give you some ideas as what is going on out there as they are expanded upon, added, or reworked based on prior responses.  Once all results are in there is a wrap up post breaking down the results with a corresponding report.  Last year there was also videos where Michaela Light of TeraTech, and last year Brad Wood of Ortus Solutions, break down the responses and their thoughts on the results.  The 2017 results can be found here and 2017 video wrap ups here and here.
