I installed the verson 17 update on a COldFusion 2023 server running version 16 and when I try to access the site now I get a certificate error.  I updated the JDK to verison 17.0.12 and the errro persists.  I looked in the coldfusion-out.log and found   “Error [ajp-nio-127.0.0.1-8022-exec-1] – ” The specific sequence of files included or processed is Error [ajp-nio-127.0.0.1-8022-exec-1] -” ‘

I checked SSL cert and configured IIS to only enable TLS 1.2.

Our SSL cert is current and keystore loks good.

I have the same issue from upgrading the basline version to verison 17.  Were you ever able to find a fix?

I attempted the following:

  1. Updated the Web Connector using wsconfig.exe to remove and add the web connectors.
  2. Client certificate authentication is explicitly required for the environment so SSL certificate settings in IIS need to be set to require.
  3. Updated the JDK from version 17.0.6 to 17.0.16.
  4. Verified the pathfilter.json file is not corrupted.
  5. Imported the SSL certificate for the website into the cacerts located in the <Java_Home>/jre/lib/security directory using the keytool utility found in Java_Home/jre/bin.
  6. Deleted the Felix Cache
  7. Uninstalled update 17 and reinstalled update 17.

The only way I found to fix the issue was to remove update 17 uninstall ColdFusion23 and then reinstall CF V01.

Super discouraging. I had problems with 15. I don’t love fearing my upgrades. Good luck!
