Hello –
I am having an issue logging in after I set up my account. I’m doing the initial one time log in with the administrator password after setting up my server.xml correctly. Any idea why I cannot log in?

And beyond Priyank’s helpful reply, and if your problem remains, I’m curious what you may mean by your “setting up my server.xml correctly”. That’s not something one typically touches on initial install of CF.
Hi Scott,
If you are not able to login, there are couple of things you can try.
- Try in an incognito window or try a different browser.
- Reset the password using the password reset utility. Go to \ColdFusion\cfusion\bin and launch the passwordreset.bat(In case of Windows), follow the onscreen instructions, and restart CF. Try to log in again.
- Also, check if you are using the correct URL and port.
