We are very close to opening up the pre-release for the next version of ColdFusion. If you are keen on getting onto the pre-release for the next version all you have to do is take this short survey.

As always, we look forward to engaging with you on the pre-release and value your contributions during the pre-release.

Is it still possible to apply for CF12 pre-release? Keen to see a version and see how our application behaves.

CF12 is in early Alpha. I wouldn’t expect it until early next year. Maybe as late as Q2. Adobe offers a free upgrade path, but only within a small window after purchase. Think it’s 30 or 60 days. Unless you have a support plan, then they are included. It does have some nice upgrades, especially if you expose APIs, but it’s a ways off so do whatever is best for your business.

Hi all – how is everyone faring with the pre-release of CF12? I need to setup a load of new servers and buy some 10 > 11 upgrade licenses – but will feel a bit dry if CF12 is literally just around the corner. Is there any rebate / free upgrade path, or any sense of release date?

Thanks, Henry

What is the timescale on this?

i.e. When will those who submitted the survey get a response either way?
