Who better to ask to build the next-generation AdobeTV portal than the company that built the highly successful last-generation portal?
Wrecking Ball Media Group employees gladly took the challenge to outdo themselves. With only two programmers using Adobe ColdFusion, Wrecking Ball optimized more than 11,000 Adobe Flash videos for desktop and mobile devices.
“A main priority for the relaunch was to make Adobe TV more accessible on tablets and mobile devices,” says Aaron Greenlee, director of development at Wrecking Ball. “Mobile technology has changed dramatically since we last rebuilt the portal and we wanted to offer an improved mobile experience for people visiting Adobe TV to learn more about Adobe products and services.”
Wrecking Ball also migrated the video service to cloud hosting, and slashed video portal response times from 7 seconds to only 70 milliseconds.
