Hi All, Here’s an update.
We will have an update released before the end of this month and the Java 7 support and announcement will go out with the update.
Thank you for your patience.
@Bob: We will have an update coming out for the Java 7 support before the end of this month.
Thank you for the heads up. Feb 2013 is approaching quickly.
Nancy, Evert – I have updated the blog post. The update with support for Java 7 will be made available before the Java 6 EOL now happening in February, 2013.
I suppose this update might be pushed back since Java 6 will not be EOLed in november?

Is this available yet? If so, what is the link for the update?
@Bob: We will have an update coming before Java 6 is EOLed in November. I will also make a blog entry to announce the availability of the Java 7 support.
Any updates on this? Java 6 is EOL in November I believe…
WE can only hope that this update finally fixes ColdFusion 9.0.1 for OS X Lion. But today OSX Mountian Lio (10.8) was released. Any word on support for CF 9.0.1 and up on Mountain Lion?
Steve, It will be the same update for both CF 9.0.1 and CF 9.0.2.
For those of us that cannot upgrade to 9.02, will there be a simple way to update 9.01 or will this update be the same for both?
Marc, just heard from Engineering that the issue you reported has been fixed.
Great news, Rakshith! I posted a CFDocument / Java 7 bug a while back but can’t find it in the bugtrackers now, so I’ll ask here: With CF9 on Java 7, if I use textarea within CFDocument, with format=”pdf”, I get an error (I can provide all details if you need it). Do you know if this has been fixed? Thanks.
